Parental Consent Form

Information for Parents/Guardians

Liberal Democrats welcome conference attendees of all ages, but we take our responsibility in safeguarding young people attending our conference very seriously. Any attendees under the age of 18 must complete the below in order to confirm attendance and they must attend with a parent / guardian. If the parent / guardian listed below who is attending onsite is not a member, please email

conferences@libdems.org.uk so they can obtain a complimentary code to register themselves to attend. 

Outside of main conference sessions a number of fringe events take place which are hosted by external organisations.

Alcohol may be available at a number of these events.

This is a largely adult event with no express supervision of young people & independent movement between venues/activities around the city/town.

General filming and photography takes place throughout conference and that images and video footage may subsequently be available on the party website or used for campaigns purposes.

Conference Donation

Conference Access Scheme

The Conference Committee has established an Access Fund to members who would find it difficult to attend conference because, for example, of a disability or the cost of childcare.

Would you like to contribute to that fund to help party members who might not otherwise be able to come to conference? Please note no VAT will be charged on this contribution.

Access

Lib Dem party conference will provide arrangements for those with mobility, visual and/or hearing impairments. Venues are proposed and selected to include good accessibility for all. 

 

If you wish to specifically inform us of any impairment you are welcome to contact the conference office. Otherwise, please see our website for more information on access arrangements.

 

If you would like to hire a complimentary mobility scooter at conference, please email conferences@libdems.org.uk to reserve one. 

Conference Documentation

There is a £10 surcharge for any member who wants the Agenda & Directory (Auditorium, Fringe, Training and Exhibitors) sent to them.

is a £20 surcharge for any member who wants a complete set of conference papers sent to them (full pack). That includes the Agenda & Directory, consultation papers, policy papers and conference reports. 

Be green! Select electronic papers only if you wish to use the app or the party website (Agenda & Directory will be available in early February).
